- Established Shinko Seikeisyo in Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture, and started production of gypsum molds for Banko ware.

- Established our local corporation SNKO CERAMICS (M) SDN. BHD. in Klang, a suburb of Kuala Lumpur, in Malaysia

- Our first manufacturing factory in Klang, Malaysia, began its operations with an annual production capacity of 50,000 formers

- A second manufacturing factory was built in Brannan Industrial Estate in Selangor, Malaysia
